This bushy annual will have lance-shaped, light green leaves with a rich aroma. Double, orange flowerheads with incurved petals appear from late spring to autumn. Good cutting flowers - strong stems petals are edible and make colourful addition to salads.
Calendula and Tagetes (marigold) are often confused with each other. Calendula is a member of the daisy family and tagetes is a member of the sunflower family. Both plants have yellow flowers, but they are different shapes. Calendula flowers are round and have a lot of petals
