Yellow .15m full sun, semi shade Plant Eranthis seeds in a cold frame in spring. Plant Eranthis tubers in late summer before they shrivel. Grow in a humus-rich, moderately fertile soil that doesn’t dry out. Tolerates most soil types but does best in alkaline soils Dry tubers may not establish well

2023-06-15: nothing Germinated from the 2023 sowing

2023-02-25: Sow eranthis in pods. Seed From RHS

2000-01-01: The Eranthis, earliest bulb to bloom made there appearance with a lovely yellow flower.  Soon to be followed by the snowdrops.
