Grape hyacinth
These are spring-flowering bulbs, they each have a cluster of narrowly strap-shaped, basal leaves, usually appearing in the spring just before the flowers. The leafless flowering stems will bears dense spikes of small flowers, most of which have constricted mouths. They are Fully to half hardy and will need a sunny position with fairly well drained soil. You can propagate by division in late summer or by seed in the autumn.
