Mitraria is a genus of flowering plants in the family Gesneriaceae, comprising the sole species M. coccinea (Chilean mitre flower).
Tubular, red-orange flowers, up to 5cm long, are borne in late spring and early summer followed by fruit in the form of a fleshy capsule
It is a woody climbing plant, distributed across Central and South Chile and South Argentina
