sow in mid spring in good seed compost. Seal in polythene bag, place in dark until first seedlings start to show. Keep most, not saturated. Germination around 30 days at 20-25c. Grow on in cooler conditions. When well grown gradually acclimatise outdoors and plant out 60cm apart in full sun and well drained soil

Veronica agrestis is very common throughout England and Wales. In Scotland it is commonest in the south and prefers the east in the far north.
