Clump forming, hairy, rhizomatous perennial with rosettes of oblong-lance shaped mid-green leaves. Bears bright blue flowers from early to late summer. 60*60cm. Propagate by division in spring. Grow in moist, moderately fertile soil in full sun or partial shade. May be invasive. Fully hardy.
